I am brand new to Windows Vista (Home Edition) and am trying to configure a user.js file in order to be able to copy and paste using Mozilla.  I am using Mozilla Firefox as my browser (version 3.5)  I can not find any CLEAR instructions on how to do it.  I've been able to create the user.js file but can't figure how to add the script I need to add (user_pref ("capability.policy....).

Support files at Mozilla, give me this: http://www.mozilla.org/support/thunderbird/edit but when I follow those directions, there is no "config editor" selection.  I have tried everything I can think of.  Any ideas?  I'm still kind of new at working in my files and it's still scary to me messing around with it too much so I'd really appreciate any help I can get with this.

    Thanks!

    user.js   - that's a JavaScript file isn't it?

This Forum does "not" assist with scripting/programming.

If that's indeed what you are needing assistance with, I suggest visting the MSDN Forums and asking for assistance....sorry, not trying to be rude, just letting you know this Forum does not assist with development issues :)

So, if you are indeed writing a js file, click here to visit MSDN
