    So, my kitten decided that it would be a good idea to walk on my keyboard while I was on facebook, trying to chase the mouse on the screen.  She walked on the keys from F1 to probably F7, and a window popped up with a "Yes" or "No" at the bottom.  Before I could read it, she stepped on the "Y" key, selecting "yes".  Now, every time I click on something anywhere, the flashing "type" line appears, as though I were going to type something.  I've tried pushing the buttons again, but nothing has come up.  It's really annoying me!  Please help!

    Sounds like your kitty turned on Caret Browsing.  Click on Tools, Internet Options, then click on the Advanced tab.  Look under Accessibility and if there is a checkmark by Enable Caret Browsing for new windows and tabs....remove it.  This sould undo the kitty effect!  :)
