Using XP, PCE SoftView92 Modem, Panasonic FaxStore40.  Incoming fax is stored on the Panasonic, then "received" through the Modem to Fax Console 5.1.

Console shows reception of multiple pages and "stores" the fax in my inbox, with a copy (.tif) in my backup storage.  The .tif files are not all the same size.  However, when I try to view the faxes, all I ever see is the cover page.  I can tell where the fax originated, but cannot view the content.

When I originally set up the Panasonic/SoftView/Console, it worked fine.  Don't know what changed as I receive faxes infrequently.

    Any help out there?

    Hello clyde,

Thanks for posting your question. This is a Windows Vista support forum but I’ll be happy to offer some suggestions that might get you pointed in the right direction. If these suggestions do not assist I would recommend checking Windows XP specific resources:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb <Link to KB>
    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp <Link to Windows XP home page>
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/usingwindowsxp.mspx <Link to Windows XP ‘Help and How to’>
    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups.mspx <Link to Windows XP newsgroups>

Since you use the program infrequently something could have either damaged the program files or inadvertently changed a setting.  If you have the installation media you might consider reinstalling the program to replace any damaged files and to reset the defaults.  If this does not resolve the problem make sure you let the XP community know the steps you have already taken.

    Thanks,

    Jack

    Thank you Jack.

Here's the wierd part.  Since I first posted I've determined that I can print these faxes just fine -- all pages.  But I can still only see the first page when I try to view the fax.

This was kind of an irritant, forcing me to print out things I may not need, but no way to tell until the paper's already wasted.

Now -- brilliant me -- I've "discovered" the page forward arrow at the bottom of the fax viewer.  So this was all just me.  Sometimes answers are too simple.

I appreciate your offering your expertise to help me.  I should have gone back to basics:  read the screen.
