    Hi malaya

Thank you for Posting on Microsoft Answers.

Which Administrator account are you referring too?  The account that was created when you 1st installed Vista or the hidden/built in Administrator account?

To enable the Hidden (built in) Administrator account, please follow the directions listed below:

    1. Go to your Start menu and in “Accessories” list, open “Command Prompt” by right-clicking on its icon and choosing “Run as Administrator

    2. When the Command Prompt window appears, enter the command net user administrator /active:yes

    3. When done, log out from your current account.

    4. The Built-in Administrator account should now be present on your log in screen.

Log into the Administator Account (no password should be needed) - after you log on with this account, verify that YOUR account has administrator rights.  Now would be a good time to create another Admin account in case yours fails.
It's recommended that you create a Standard account and "use" that account and only use the Admin account for Administrative purposes.

Please Post back and let us know if this helped to resolve the issue - thank you
