How to uninstall Windows XP from a PC badaffected by PAV
None of the guidance to remove the personal antivirus trojan workd for me. It now does not connect to the internet, does not activate network connections- so I can not download anything to remove it. Trying to remove XP, in Safe mode, as Administrator, the add/remove only gave XP SP3 which I removed. That did not remove XP. Now it does not even show Windows XP - so I cant remove it. I tried to do it through commnad prompt by cd\; cd\windows\system32; "osuninst.exe" that brought a message "can not uninstall XP as there is not complete registration information". I tried to boot the PC with the XP CD but I dont seem to be able to boot it with it. I need some step by step help, please. Many thanks
