- Not true and most likely a bogus version infested with malware. Please do not attempt to download any version of Windows from third-party sources.
Please review the following: Windows 7 Unofficial Builds

- not true. any RTM version that is leaked will not support keys for previous versions so if you did manange to find a version, you would only be able to use it for 30 days before having to reformat your computer. bottom line, stay away from torrents or any websites that dont belong to Microsoft, don't download unofficial builds....and above all, the final version will be here on October 22, so be patient!

http://windows 7qna.ning.com - thank you... i'll be carefull :)
- thank i'll try do not install this version... but.. you know...windows 7 RTM is a great Bait for people around the world. Thanks for answer me :)
- The thing about RTM....Windows 7 goes into RTM either on or soon after July 11 so the RTM version and retail version will be the exact same thing, the only difference is that RTM is for OEM manufacture install so it would have an imbedded pre-activated key where as the retail version would be an identical copy of the RTM version but you have to type in the key provided with the DVD during install and activate the software within 30 days time of installation. Bottom line, if an RTM is leaked on the internet all should stay away from it since Microsoft Genuine Advantage system will be tagged along with it and the software will be subject to copy right and piracy laws and could be de-authenticated causing a huge pain.

http://windows 7qna.ning.com - Why won't Microsoft release these builds themselves, this would prevent alot of thirdparty ____ to be embedded in these downloads. If the company is going to let these builds out, they need to muck up and have the legit copy available. It just makes sense.
- Microsoft doesn't release those builds because they're not designed to be complete. Again they are for testing purposes only. If Microsoft were to dedicate time to makeing every build stable and publicly available then the final release date for Windows 7 would be much much farther away, like the middle of 2010 at least. This would be because Microsoft complies a new build about every 2 weeks at the most so it would cost a lot of time, money, and bandwith on it's servers and it's just not practical to do such a thing. That's why they make all of these little builds, test them, find bugs, fix the bugs and roll the fixes into a new build until they reach a stable version like the beta and the RC.

I set up and run W7 OS. But why W7 used too much free space of HDisk? When opening my cmputer, my hd's free space is 5GB and about a few minutes that i open programms (only small soft) as WINRAR, MS OFFICE,.....(only 2-3 softs), my remaning free space is only few GB (about 2GB) lost more 2GB, althought W7 is fast vista as XP but it used too more disk space..... I would like to have MS'answers!
- Its prob just all the drivers you will ever need taking up that space, thanx to the net 4 gig is nothing if you aint got the space just get a bigger drive or put all your downloaded stuff on an external USB. Its also reserved its swap file. Disk space dont matter, RAM does. a descent HD starts at about £23 for 80gig, you might as well have the 160 for £30 or bigger for not much more.Google Chrome Rulez IE8 drulez
