Windows update not working in Windows 7. WindowsUpdate_80072EE2
- Error: "WindowsUpdate_80072EE2" "WindowsUpdate_dt000"...
I've turned off 3rd party firewall/antivirus "Zone Alarm Extream" and that did not help. Is this a common error?
Just before I upgraded in place from Vista Updates were working. Also Windows is Activated. This has been an issue for the past 2 days.
Any ideas?

Thanks again, I have an open ticket with MS. But they took 5 days to respond and now I am waiting another 3 days.
I am not new to Windows, I go way back to the 3.1 days. This is most annoying of MS. When I do find a fix I will update here. Thanks.- Hi,
With a new OS out I am sure they are swamped. Send some follow-up requests maybe.
