Vista upgrade to new harddriveI have bought a new SATA drive and I want to do my Vista install on it so I can preserve my existing system. But I have an upgrade version of Vista so have to run the upgrade from the existing XP system. The new hard drive is not formatted so is not recognized by the existing XP system. I have been afraid to proceed with the install for fear it will try to overwrite my existing system.

How do I proceed?© 2009 Microsoft Corporation.
