Hello,  Both are going into the same inbox.

Ok, before I sent this message.... I deleted the emails address, close mail, opened and added back. It dd not work.
A neighbor told me to delete them and restart my computer, then add them back.  IT WORKED!!

I am now only getting one of each.
    THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR TIME!!

    Hi Kimmerd,

Thank you for posting on the forum.

I have some questions for you so I can get a better picture of how your e-mail is set up. What are you using as your e-mail client? Windows Mail, MSOutlook, webmail etc.? Who is your e-mail provider?

Are your two accounts different e-mail address, are they the same? Are you running any rules?

Please post back with as much information that you can provide, so we may be able to assists you further.

    Hi JohnD,

I am running Windows Mail, on Vista.  I have Charter Internet as the provider.
I have two different email accounts.  I have no rules set...never had.
I have had these accounts for 5 years. I bought this computer 2 years ago. No changes have been made.
This is the first problem with mail that I have had.

My internet service was not working a week ago and they had me unplug my router to reset mycable modem.
They next night I went to get my email and they were all being received in doubles. I called Charter back and they told me it was a Gateway problem. Gateway told me its a Microsoft problem andmicrosoft told me to call my internet provider....!  I am sure it was a coincidence.

It is just annoying to keep deleting duplicate emails, and junk mails....
Anything else I can tell you let me know. Thanks for your response.

    Hi Kimmerd

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Answers.

Does email from both of your accounts go to one Inbox or two?  Sorry to have to ask that question but I am more familiar with Microsoft Outlook.

You might want to consider upgrading to the new Windows Live Email, which is free:  Below is the link

Please Post back and let us know if this resolved your issue.
