Backup photo gallery tags?
- Is there any way to backup photo gallery tags? I have thousands of tags and I do not want to chance losing them

Which version of Windows Vista is installed on your computer?
All the tags you provide like People tags added after face recognition, or Star rating etc all becomes part of photo itself . They are saved as metadata along with photo. So if you copy a photo and open it in another computer with Windows Live photo gallery, these tags will be shown there also. So all tags data are saved with the photo.
I would suggest you to install the latest Windows Live Photo Gallery and open the photos you tagged and check.
