ST Service.exe-unable to locate component.  This application has failed to start because STLog.dll was not found.  Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.  I am not sure which applicatin to install.  I have a new Dell Inspiron 1545.  I know there was a discussion about this.  I am wondering if there anything else I can do.

    aortic,
Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Answers community forum.

That file seems to be part of the Dell backup program that comes pre-loaded on your system.  You can uninstall it in control panel, programs and features, but I would suggest contacting Dell to make sure you have a copy of it to reinstall or that you can download a copy from their web site if you don't have one on CD.

Let us know if you need more help.
    Thanks,
