The company for whom I work for has a production database server with SQL Server Standard Edition (64bit) installed on it. However when I try to configure Oracle as a linked server, the "Microsoft OLE DB provider for Oracle" does not appear in the drop down for provider. The server runs service pack 2 and the .NET version installed on the server is 3.5 SP1 in addition to 2.0 SP2 and 3.0 SP2. Please guide as to what has to be done.
