I somehow got a very bad virus in my system... Aleuron something. Restored my pc back to factory settings. Before that I saved all of my files that I wanted to a flashdrive. Afterwards, I tried putting my saved files back in, but it didn't work out. So I started putting Programs that I had on cd back in manually. When I tried putting Office Home and Student back in, I got what I described above and it would only abort the install. I'm not very pc knowledgeable and so am still searching out options, including going to Office Suite free online after this, but if it won't "write the value to the registry key," I doubt that this will work either.
