I'm using vista when I open any windows the background is black and I can't view pictures properly.
- I've tried changing the screen resolution, colour scheme and brightness and tried a system restore.

· When did the issue start?
· Was there any changes done prior to this issue?
A) Also check if the latest drivers for the video adapters are installed.
You must be logged on as an administrator to perform these steps.
1. Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
2. In Device Manager, locate the device you want to update, and then double-click the device name.
3. Click the Driver tab, and then click Update Driver and follow the instructions

B) Create new user account.
i. Open User Accounts by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking User Accounts and Family Safety, and then clicking User Accounts.
ii. Click Manage another account. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
iii. Click Create a new account.
Type the name you want to give the user account, click an account type, and then click Create Account.
