QuestionVista screen blank after 1 minute

    my laptop screen become blank (BECOME BLACK BUT BACKLIGHT STILL ON) after 1 minutes.the problem still presist eventhough i make changes in control panel,no matter what minutes choose the screen become blank after 1 minutes.can someone tell me what are possible causes of this problem and how to solve it

    Please explain your issue a bit.

    Are you seeing like a shadow of your desktop, just dark?

    Are you getting a actual black screen, any error?

    Have you checked your event viewer for any errors?

    i don't know how to check if there is any error in event viewer

    it's just like plain black screensaver,can't see anything but black.the monitor backlight still on.it happen exactly after 1 minute of inactivity eventhough i set my monitor to to turn off (not the screensaver) other than 1 minute.i can see the monitor back if i move the mouse though
