    Hi Tony,

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forum!

What program are you using to open .aspx files?

What version of the Internet Explorer is installed on the computer?

Click on the Help option in the Internet Explorer. Click on About Internet Explorer.

This will let you know the version of the Internet Explorer that you’re using.

I would suggest you to open the .aspx files using the Internet explorer.

Let me know what message do you get when you try to open the .aspx files through Internet Explorer.

    Hope this information is helpful.

Thanks for trying to help. I am trying to open the ASPX file using IE 8. It just seems to freeze when I tell it to open the file, no messages are displayed.  I find it so frustating and I end up venturing into areas that I do not understand.  I am going to dump the problem on the persons sending me the file to read and see what they say.

    Thanks
