Trouble to acces my account at Games for Windows - LIVE 3.0

Everytime I try to login with my account at Games for Windows - LIVE, an error happens. It says I cannot login without solving an account problem first. My account in Xbox.com, however, is in perfect state (and it's complete, as well). I really don't know what to do, because when I acces the link which has been suggested by the program (Games for Windows - LIVE), I always enter in my page at Xbox.com, but everything is allright with my account, there.
The code of error is: 80154017 (and I have not found it in my researches at Microsoft's webpage).
I really hope this error may be solved as soon as possible, because most of the games I own use Games for Windows - LIVE to connect online.
My OS is: Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 (32bits).

Ok, so what i don't understand is that part here,

Why would i not have access to My/That directory if I'm the Administrator / Owner of my Laptop?? If i can't then who can? Microsoft..?

I recently, within the past 48 hours, installed Windows 7 64 bit when before i was using Vista. since i have installed windows 7 i have found that i cannot play WoW. everytime i try to open it a message "Failed to find suitable display device. exiting program" shows up when before i had no problems. if there is anyone out there that can help i would greatly appreciate your help.

Most if not all games and streaming media freeze about 10 minutes after playing. Occasionally the sound will go out before the game actually freezes. Sometimes the sound will go out, the game will continue to play until I exit the program, at which time the computer will freeze.

Had my computer serviced and upgrades installed. Now some yahoo games won't display, nor will the puzzles on JigZone. Error message: Computer recognizes APPLETS, but for some reason, is completely ignoring them.

Checked to be sure Java was activated. Uninstalled Windows 8 upgrade. Checked ActiveX. Still won't display. I can get the web pages, and some Yahoo games are fine, but others show an empty square with red X in box at top left corner.

I am trying to install zoo tycoon 2 zookeeper edition on a 64 bit windows 7 machine with 8 GB RAM. Is there a solution to the 256MB memory error besides purchasing additional zoo tycoon products or configuring the machine to recognize 4GB RAM? I cannot event get to MS support because I cannot start the game get the PID. Any chance MS may provide a free upgrade or refund? (don't laugh too hard!)

I just bought a Gateway FX6000 series computer with Vista Premium. When this problem first occurred, I installed all the windows updates, including SP2 for Vista, and updated all the drivers.

While trying to install both a download game from Direct2Drive and from an Oblivion DVD, I receive this error:(This one is for the Oblivion install, but it is the same error for the downloaded game. )

With some recent games i have purchased(Fallout 3, COD 4) there is no option to install in any other drive other than C: drive. I have a partitioned drive and would like all of my games on say the E: drive. Is there a way round this? I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2.

Mods: I'm not sure what section this should go in, this seemed the most correct one to me, move it if you feel nessicary.

I have a marvell yukon lan device on my xfx 750a motherboard, amd phenom 9550. All of my drivers are up to date, but still for some reason while I'm gaming the lan device will disable itself, cut my connection, then when trying to self resolve the issue it will make explorer lock up. I have left my computer on for 3 days to see if that problem would occur without having a game on and it will not. Even when I reboot it will still be disabled and lock up when trying to enable it again, the only solution I have found is that I have to go into safe mode and then reboot. The odd thing is that I do not have to do anything while in safe mode! I just log in and restart and it will work for a while and normally about a day or two later, the same thing will happen all over again. Please help me, I will love you forever if you can.

Just installed FSX on Windows 7. I am checking and ticking all the relevant boxes on the appropriate panel and tying up the Nav 1 info to the VOR but I can't get any display. Any known problem? Or am I missing something?

Can you disable automatically loading a random game number when Freecell first starts?

When Freecell starts in Windows 7, it automatically loads a random game. I don't want it to. I ALWAYS want to select the game number that I want to play. Yes, I can select the game -after- the cards are dealt, but then I have to accept defeat on the pre-dealt hand that I don't want to play.

The reason that I want to select the game is because I'm sequentially going through the list, from game 1 to ....

So, is there anyway to disable the auto select, or to return to the behavior where it asks you to either select random or ## game first? (Like in previous versions)

I was told that I should be more specific about the original problem. The Game is Fallout 3. When it tries to load I get the message "The ordinal 5360 could not be located in the dynamic disk library xlive.dll. The suffix makes me think that these two problems are related. Please tell me how to fix them as soon as possible. (hopefully before it corrupts my computer.)

I about to purchase Resident Evil 5, the PC version and I want to make sure that it'll work on Windows 7.

Recently, upgrading to windows 7 had been fairly enjoyable but yet having problems loading a later game called counterstrike, it plays in an OpenGL format with its video but can also run under Software or D3D settings, which aren't that good compared, but everytime i try and run it under the OpenGL it says game will not be able to run under it, and i cant go above a certain resolution, is there some way to over write the config file or something that will change the way it reads the game, hopefully this version of windows supports opening up games in an older installation of windows. that way when i did the upgrade i can use the windows vista for the game, windows XP supported this feature why wouldn't windows 7 too. please let me know if i can do that or possibly something easier that works with 7's system.

windows 7 takes longer to load a programme than vista when playing chess in yahoo, the table was loaded in a flash in win 7 it takes about 10/15 secs

I am working on completing my Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit set up and I have been experiencing a gamepad problem. I have successfully install my Saitek Cyborg 3D Rumble gamepad and a Xbox 360 gamepad. I have yet seen the Force Feedback feature (aka Rumble for the Saitek) work in a game or in Device and Printers applet.

How can I test for Force Feedback?

I am having a compatibility problem with the baseball game High Heat 2004, I can install it without any problems, however, when I go to play it I keep getting a screen that tells me that I need to put the CD in the CD tray, which is where it is. This game worked without any problems on windowsXP. Thanks for any assistance.

I click on the game icon and the game window appears and the layouts begin to load. But the loading process stops midway and I get the following message: "Mahjong Towers Eternity has encountered a problem. Please make sure you have the latest version of the game". I do have the only version of the game. In addition, once I remove the message I cannot remove the game window unless I use the task manager.

i have been using my Jewel Quest game for two to three years. I recently got an error box message saying that Jewel Quest had stopped working. I contacted Iwin Games website and was told to check several items. They also suggested that I uninstall and reinstall the game. I have tried this a couple of times to no avail. I have updated my system regularly. I can think of no reason why the game would just suddenly stop working. I am hoping you can help.

I have read several entries on here, but none of them seem to fit my situation. I am not trying to connect to XBox through the laptop, I just cannot use both simultaneously. We have the best internet available, we've got a router, and yet somehow we are still unable to utilize our internet at the same time. I've read things about how you need to change the IP (or something?) on the router so it allows both to work at the same time, but I am completely clueless when it comes to routers. The laptop runs on XP. If anyone has ANY suggestions, I am more than willing to give them a try!

when trying to play big fish games I only get a very small screen. It won't open to full screen. I have tried to run them in xp compatible mode and disable windows 7 areo. But then the games won't open at all.

Whenever i open a game via the main exe file my screen will go black like the game is loading then the computer will completely freeze up and i have to hard reboot it. I have 2 monitor so while the game is loading i have my mouse on the second screen so i can see how long it takes to freeze. ctrl alt del doesn't work either. Also sometimes when i hit print screen my computer will freeze up same as when i open the games. I can get some of the games to work but i have to have a no cd fixed exe for it to work. I have installed the newest video card drivers so im pretty sure its not that.

How do I find out my fps rate?

I purchased a Toshiba satellite L455 laptop. I am attempting to download World of warcraft on it but it's taking all day for the digital download. I do have the installation cds which I attempted to use yesterday. After the 5th CD I had an error that said "unable to install Wailing Caves content". I've disabled Norton and am checking for programs running in the background. Any help would be appreciated =)

Ok, I have a good one for you that I have tried to resolve with no success whatsoever.

I recently downloaded AOE3 Warchiefs trial version to see what it was like. When I tried to uninstall this it failed and said Unhandled Exception
Error Number: 0x80040702
Description: Failed to load DLL: FierwallInstallHelper

I have since tried everything to remove this but no luck.
First, I tried to uninstall and since have removed the folder containing all the AOE3 data.. No success.
I tried to delete all AOE3 data from the registry, but that has not helped.
I have tried to reinstall a new copy and get the same warning.
What's more, in the list of programs it shows AOE3 Warchiefs trial package still present and states it is 58.4 gigs??

Please help.
This is driving me crazy.

im having a problem with filling out some forms or pages that come up after i load up this multiplayer site called steam , after i down load it and click on the icon on my desk top,it start an up date load bar thing after thats done the lic aggerment comes up (i can read and see everything just fine ) anouther page comes up i see and read that fine, i click ok, then what i think is a page to set up a profile comes up ,and this is where the problems start. i see the backround (no text on the page,i see field boxes to fill out (no text and when i put my cusrer over the box it changes from the arrow to the ( I ) and i click on that field it dosent do any thing also on that page at the bottom are three more boxes that are back button,next, cancel, (no text ) if i click on them they work , when i click on next ,a new page comes up, but the same thing fieldboxes (no text anywhere on the page ) cant fill them in and the buttons on the bottom that work but no text . i also went to their site and downloaded it from them with the same results. i also went to my vista help and when the page loaded i notice red Xs on the leftside of the page but when clicked on the sugg it work i saw all the text except the red X stuff

So, I have been having this problem for about 3-4 days now. Game starts, after a few minutes it just crashes. Ive read these other forums and tried the "solutions" that they were given. No joy. I did the compatibility for Vista SP1 mode, did not work. Made sure all my drivers are up to date, did not work. Made sure Direct X and C++ are up to date, did not work. It's really getting annoying that a Microsoft made game, is not working with a BRAND NEW Microsoft operation system.

Things that trigger a game crash:
1. Changing views in game.
2. Opening ATC window.
3. Nothing, it just crashes.

So, I upgraded my computer from old hardware and WinXPPro32bit sp3 to newer, faster hardware and Win7Pro 64bit.
Computer specs as follows:

CPU - Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz
Mobo - ASRock P55 Extreme
RAM - 4GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3-1600
Video - nVidia GTX 260
OS - Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64bit

Like I said, I checked my drivers, DirectX, C++, and tried running in Vista SP1 mode. And none of it works. I don't want to sound like a jerk, but its just getting really annoying and frustrating when they don't work, especially if they are both Microsoft products... Any help would be nice, and again, Ive read similar post on this site from people with the same problem, and tried what they tried, and still no luck for me, or them. Any type of help would be greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance.

Everytime I put my Sims Pets Cd in my Cd rom it spins and the little icon flashes on the mouse as if its going to play. However a error message will pop up saying Windows Drive not ready then it has the little message:

and then have 3 options to cancel, try again or continue. So I will click continue and it will continue to spin as if its going to play. but nothing happens!

I will even try to open it manually on the my computers page and it will not show it being inside the cd rom.

In the past this has happened and it wouldshow this that message and when i click continue it would still autoload and play.

Sometimes it would say insert Cd when it would already be in there, then we would do a spitting out game where it would open up again and I would close it and repeat it over and over until it would reconigize it and play. A real big Drag!

I hope someone can help me out, If so could you please give me good step by step directions!
