Fable: The Lost Chapters Installation Error 1305 and 1603
- I am trying to install Fable: The Lost Chapters.. I am running Vista Home Premium 64-bit. The game worked on my old XP computer, I bought a new one, and now I cam having problems installing. When I run the installation it gets to a file called dialogue.lut and it gives an Error 1305. It can't read the file from the destination folder. It also says to veify that the file exists and that i can access it. I checked the destination folder and the file is there, but it says its size is 0 KB when it should be a roughly 300 MB file. I have retried many times but it simply won't work, so I cancel the process and it says "Error: -1603 Fatal error during installation. Consult Windows Installer Help (Msi.chm) or MSDN for more information."
I have tried running the program as an administration, disabling User Account Control, updating my drivers, downloading Windows Service Pack 2, and copying the file over manually, but I still get the same message. What am I doing wrong?- Edited byWhiteTerror85 Friday, July 03, 2009 9:07 PM
