AnswerI keep getting a script error message on my Vista when I open my Gateway games. It was not there previously, just started in the last week or so.

    It says "an error has occured in the script on this page". "Object does not support this property or method". Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? I click yes. The message pops up again. I click yes. Third time, again yes, then it lets me go into the program. However, it will only let me do the games I have previously downloaded. If I try to click on a new game I get the same error page but the whole thing freezes and I have to close it out. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling it. I tried deleting cookies and browsing history. I checked to make sure the script debugging box was checked under the internet options.  I don't know what else to do.

    Hi Doxiegal1960,

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers!

       ·         This issue is caused by damaged or incompatible Internet Explorer settings or add-ons. You can usually resolve the problem by resetting Internet Explorer   
       settings.

    I would suggest you to optimize internet explorer and then reset internet explorer, you have a fix it in the reset internet explorer link below just click on it, to resolve the issue.

    Optimize internet explorer

    You can also Reset Internet Explorer Settings.

    1.      Close any Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer windows that are currently open.

    2.      Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.

    3.      Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.

    4.      Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset.

    5.      Select the Delete personal settings check box if you would like to remove browsing history, search providers, Accelerators, home pages, and InPrivate Filtering data.

    6.      In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset.

    7.      When Internet Explorer finishes restoring the settings, click Close, and then click OK.

    8.      Close Internet Explorer.

    Your changes will take effect the next time you open Internet Explorer.
