If you have an Xbox 360 connected to a home network, you can use it as a Media Center Extender. This is an easy way to stream your pictures, music, videos, and other media from your Windows 7 PC to your TV.

    1.       Turn on your computer and log on to Windows. Verify that it's connected to your home network. (An easy way to do this is to open your web browser and navigate to a web page.)

    2.       Turn on your Xbox 360 and verify that it is connected to your home network.

    3.       On your computer, open Windows Media Center by clicking the Start button, clicking All Programs, and then clicking Windows Media Center.

    4.       On the Windows Media Center start screen, scroll to Tasks, click Add extender, and then follow the instructions.

    5.       Using your Xbox 360 controller to scroll to My Xbox, and then select Windows Media Center.

    6.       On your TV, follow the instructions on the screen to obtain an 8-digit Windows Media Center Setup Key. Write down this 8-digit setup key. This is the key that you will use to affiliate your Xbox 360 with your computer that has Windows Media Center.

You do not need to download any additional software because the Extender functionality is built into Windows Media Center.

    7.       On your computer, on the Enter the Setup Key screen in Media Center, enter the 8-digit setup key displayed by your Extender, and then continue following the instructions.

I have a problem, WMC says that my computer and x360 arent on the same subnet and it cant find Extender. Im wasting so much time to fix that, but no results. Im being tired of it.
My PC is connected to router, router is connected to ISP (Duna, getting all settings automaticly) and it works fine - my PC is connected to Internet. Then... my x360 is connected to PC by 2nd network card which PC includes. PCs sharing Internet to x360 and I can connect to XBL with no problems. Here are settings on x360 network card: http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/8344/beztytuutx.png .
    Settings on my x360:
    IP: 192.168.0.2
    Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway : 192.168.0.1
    DNS server (Primary): 192.168.2.1
    (router address)
    Help please...
