    I have a huge problem with Win7 dx11.

on that display tab on dxdiag half of the info is blank. win 7 will not pull any info from the vid card, which is an ati 4870. The card works FINE on win xp. Only win 7 is being an absolute pile of junk with ati drivers.

Any help on this? How can I correct the Direct x info to what it reflects in winxp(WHICH RUNS PERFECT)

    Heya:

Basic question, but want to make sure....  Have you installed the latest ATI driver for your specific card?  You may need to uninstall the current drivers and do a fresh install, instead of just an update.  From looking at the AMD site, it appears ATI issued new drivers for the HD 4870 (both 32/64 bit) on October 21.

Let us know if this helps.

I have ati 4870 and it runs beautifully on windows 7 64bit.  I had trouble w/ my card running correctly on windows xp actually.   I have latest catalyst drivers, and have not had any issues since I've ran it on windows 7.

Did you get a pop box saying the drivers installed correctly or install with recommended settings something like that.Did you do a driver update via Windows update.

I would also recommend to install the latest DirectX Redist. and Catalyst drivers.
