I have reinstalled FSX in the same computer it was placed in the fiers time.
The program loads fine but will not allow me to register.
I can play it for 15 minutes and then the program will ask to restart and add
    product key.
I restart the program but it will not ask for key and will only play for 15 minutes again.
This is the only computer I have used for this install so I'm stumped.
    Any help out there??

If you are using the version of FSX that shipped with your computer/a trial version, you will need to pay for the full version. The trial version will not run properly after a few weeks from the install... Also, I think that the trial version is dated, so that after the coded date on the disk, the program gives the symptoms that you described.

If you ran the trial version, then installed the retail version, many of the files from the installed trial version are left on the disk and will interfere with your retail install...

If you have installed the trial version, you will need to unistall the retail version, reboot, delete all files and folders left from the uninstall, and install the retail version again.

    Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply but this is a retail version of FSX complete with product key, I just can't get the program to ask for the key.
It won't ask for it when the fresh install is first opened, Nor will it ask for one after 15 minutes of use and rebooting
the program. I had this same program running fine for well over a year on this same computer but
after too many addons It started to slow up a bit. That is why I removed the program and all addons for a fresh start.

    geebeer2,
If you have the manual that came with the game, there should be a number for activation in the back.  I would suggest that you give them a call as they may be able to help you with this issue.
