    Hi Dunnowhat2do,

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Windows Vista Forums.

It looks like the Video card driver is malfunctioning. I would recommend you to either update the video card driver or un install and re install the compatible driver successfully.

To update the driver, you may follow the steps given below:
    1. Click Start, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
    2. Expand the display adapters, right click on the item and then click update driver.
    3. If the driver is updated successfully, then restart the computer.
    4. Try to play the game.

To uninstall and reinstall the driver, you may follow the steps given below:
    1. Click Start, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
    2. Expand the display adapters, right click on the item and then click uninstall.
    3. Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
    4. Visit the nvidia website and download the compatible video adapter driver and install it successfully:
    http://www.nvidia.com
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_175.19_whql.html
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_181.22_whql.html
    http://www.nvidia.com/page/7300_faq.html
    5. Once the driver is installed, then restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
    6. Try to play the game.

Let me know if this worked.

    All the best!

    Thanks and Regards:

It is your graphics card, I think those particular model has 128mb of ram, which. You need atleast 512mb to run the game, so don't expect anything flashy or nice.

    Upgrade your video card!

also this site is great to test games to see if you can run it.

Upgrade your video card. You have a old one that isn't supported to run GTA IV.
