Hi phariah,
Welcome to Microsoft Answers community.
Adding to what Kevin J Baird said you can try the below steps.
You can check for the compatibility of the games with vista using the below link.
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/
You can also try running your game in XP compatibility mode using the below steps.
1. Right-click the icon for the program and click Properties,
2. Click the Compatibility tab.
For more information visit http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows
You can also run XP Virtual Machine in your computer by downloading Virtual PC 2007 using the below link.

Hope this information is helpful.
Let me know if this worked.

- They should install, and then you should be able to run them. If they don't run, you could tell us the specific game you are having trouble with, and we can probably help you to get it to work, or let you know if it won't.

- Thanks to all that answered my call for help. I tried the games on my other laptop (which also runs vista) and they work on that one.
