Windows Vista (Aero?)theme

Right, off to tell the story first.

After a few updates of windows I believe I lost the "Aero" theme. When I got bought Vista ultimate it was on my computer but after several updates by windows it dissapeared and the theme turned normal black instead of it being dynamic.

Then I was playing this online golf game when the game protector failed and crashed the game. It asked me if I wanted to sent the error files and so I did. I exited the game and my Aero theme was back but only to dissapear again 10 minutes later...

Can anyone help me on this problem on how to restore the Aero theme back?

Try re-running the Performance test. Control Panel -> Performance Information and Tools. Click the "Update my score" link.

I tried re-running the performance test and it didn't work. Any other suggestion?

Thank you for Posting on Microsoft Answers.

Please check to see if the Desktop Window Manager Session Manager Service is
running.
Click on Start
In the Start Search Box type in Service and press the ENTER key
Scroll down to Desktop Window Manager Session Manager and make sure its started and set to Automatic.

I'm afraid not it is set on automatic and running fine but still no Aero..

Any other option?

Uninstall your video driver, and then re-install it.
