Vista Home Professional logging-on / screensaver problem.Hi.
For a little while now my laptop, which is about a year and a half old, has been acting up. When it is turned on, and the user logon page appears, the keyboard (I bought a USB plug and play keyboard to see if it helped, it didn't) accepts only the 'm' and backspace key - the former triggering as a return strong, and and latter as some function other than as a backspace. I have found, however, the way to make it work is to wait for the screensaver to activate. My questions are these:

- Does anyone have any ideas about how to solve the root problem?
- Does anyone know the 'magic formula' for triggering screensaver mode on Vista Home Premium whilst still at the user login page.© 2009 Microsoft Corporation.
