    Hi,

Test your theory by using UAbutton set to IE6. XP2

Rob - Bicycle - Mark Twain said it right.

    Install UAPick       http://www.enhanceie.com/dl/UAPickSetup.exe

Charliemor45 Tweaking Rob's suggestion a little bit, I was able to find a work-around to fix this problem (temporarily at least) if you care to try it.

    • Using UAPicker (Install UAPick)
    • Select the User-Agent String Template for IE7 on Vista (not IE6 & XP)
    • (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; SLCC1))
    • Make sure you're signed into Messenger
    • You should now be able to download Messenger display pics, etc from Live Gallery

AWESOME.  I was a little worried that it was going to be one of those 'fickle' fixes that only works for me (one time)

I'm really glad it worked for you too.  I posted the answer in the Live Gallery Forum (which I still believe is a joke) as there were more than a half dozen folks with the same problem (and no answer)

BTW, I downloaded as many display pics as I could when I first realized it worked (in case fixing it didn't 'last' :>) lol

Not only that, I have put in my flash drive.

Should I need to reinstall Windows 7, I shall have that handy tool ready to hit the ground running.

    Again, really nice work.

I also agree that the Live forum is a joke, perhaps, posting the URL to this place might help people??

    Just a thought.

Again thanks, Krittermattel, for a job very well done.
