It has a side bar with scroll up and down, and a bottom bar that is only displaying intrnet protected mode on, a zoom icon and an icon to enable content block. It does not have a normal task bar or top bar for minimise, maximise, or close. I cannot get it to go away and it is preventing me from accessing my desktop and desktop icons. Apart from this blank screen, the computer is running normally. I have run all scans, but have found nothing amiss, have down a system restore and restatrts. All to no avail as it keeps coming back on its own each time I start up. I am using windows vista. I have made no recent changes, have had no error messages. I was playing scrabble, not on the internet when it first appeared.
