    Hello George,

To turn on Aero in Windows:

To change the color scheme to Windows Vista Aero

    1.

Open Appearance Settings by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, clicking Personalization, and then clicking Window Color and Appearance. If the Appearance Settings dialog box is not displayed, at the bottom of the page, click Open classic appearance properties.

    2.

In the Color scheme list, click Windows Vista Aero, and then click OK.

Once you have turned Aero on, I think this step will be easier for you to do when ever you want the 3DFlip on or off. You can also open Flip 3D by pressing CTRL+Windows logo key +TAB. You can then press TAB to cycle through the windows. (You can also press RIGHT ARROW or DOWN ARROW to cycle forward one window, or press LEFT ARROW or UP ARROW to cycle backward one window.) Press ESC to close Flip 3D.

Hope this helps you. Make it a great day!

Make sure the the appearance settings is set to Aero. Your color sheme may be selected as windwos vista basic. If yes change it to Windows Aero. If it is already in windows aero in appearance settings change it to windows vista basic and apply it. Once done change it back to windows Aero. Now click on the "switch between windows" 2nd right icon from the start button ans see if there is any change.
The oher posibilities of changing the appearance is in advanced system settings.

Start > Right click on Computer > Properties > Advanced System Settings

Once you’re at the System Properties window, click on Settings under Performance.
Here, you’ll be able to customize your computer’s appearance element by element.

Select the option "adjust for best appearance" apply and click ok and see if there is any change.

NOTE:  If you select an option different than windows aero you may lose capability that you have now (For example HP touchsmart needs windows aero to setup and use some of the touch screen functions.
If you want to experiment - Under Control Panel / Personalization / appearance setting - you have color scheme options. If aero isn't the way you like try windows classic/standard/vista standard. Also for each of these settings you can modify the effects option (Turn on/off shadows under menu) and the advanced options where you can select 3D and modify the way the colors are to give you a more comfortable look and feel similar to the way your used to. Also under control panel / Personalization /Mouse Pointers - you can change the way the mouse pointer looks in aero or 3D mode or other choices. (If I understand your problem). >>> Carl

    Hi,

Not The C., but you can find drivers for that card here:
    http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

The ATI 4330 series supports the Aero theme with the proper driver installed:
