    Hi Robert H Foster,

    Welcome to Microsoft answers forums!

    a)    Does this happen with all the websites or only with Google?

    b)     Which web browser are you using (Internet explorer {IE}, Mozilla)?

Follow the steps, to make the web pages appear full screen.

    1. Start Internet explorer as you normally would.

    2. Open a link in a new Window (or whatever your normal procedure that causes a reduced size IE window).

    3. Close the original window(s), leaving only the reduced size one

    4. Resize this final IE window by dragging the edges to be nearly full screen - do not use the maximize button!

    5. Click file menu, press ALT key and then exit to close the IE window.

Open IE and the size setting should stick.
