QuestionIs any work being done to get a concise FAQ/KB together from these fora?

I am curious because there are a lot of really good questions and answers happening here. Unfortunately, the same questions get asked ad infinitum when they could be distilled into a more categorized and searchable form. I know MS has some great knowledgebase-building engineers and could pull it off.

I honestly think a number of people are getting exactly what they need here and coming away with a better sense of support but it could be streamlined a bit to help more users.

    What do you think, Barb?

    Hi Ross-
We are constantly working to improve our search experience. ethreads show up both in a forum post, and during the ask a question experience to try and help people find existing answers. However, very interested in your ideas around this. What would you like to see?

    Barbara,

    Glad you asked!

I really like the layout of the Library on TechNet and the old KB (not sure about new one).
The expandable tree makes it easy to see major topics and drill down to the more specific ones.

I also like the "predictive" search window idea a la Bing and g00gle.
7 times out of 10, something I can use appears in the drop-down, but there is always something in the first couple of pages of results.

Some of the FAQs I think are good are:  PHP, DSL Reports (especially the top 50 most popular), USPS, IRS, USPTO

(by the way, I told the little popup linkmaker to open all those above links in new windows and it did not "take")

    Regards,
