Can't re-activate Windows 7100 following repair
- Hi, I did a repair install of Windows 7 RC (Build 7100) and now it wants me to activate Windows again but will not accept my original key. This key worked for initial activation but now it's saying the key is not valid. Any ideas?1 person needs an answerI do too

- Try obtaining another key and see if that will work.
Andre Da Costa http://adacosta.spaces.live.com http://www.activewin.com if you can still get onto windows go to http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/ValidateNow.aspx?displaylang=en
and click "validate windows" and type in your key. it will bypass the internal key check and validate it straight from Microsoft. this will also activate your copy of windows (if you have a valid license)
